A Woodblock Wave Curling Over Small Boats
Four cuts carry this artwork, from a 35-inch stall width to a 71 by 79 inch drop, and Water Shower Curtain is one of the few images here that genuinely changes meaning between them. The design is a woodblock-style sea in indigo and white: one enormous wave curls from the left with clawed foam at its crest, two long boats ride the trough beneath it, and a small snow-capped peak sits far off on a flat cream sky. On a narrow panel the wave fills everything; on a wide one the distance opens up. Foam breaks off the crest in fine claw-like fingers that reach across the sky, and the boats are drawn in outline with their crews barely indicated.

A Classic Print Cropped Into a Narrow Stall

You have 30 days from delivery to return your item — no explanation needed. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned complete in their original packaging.
To start a return or exchange, just contact us with your order number and reason. We'll send you the instructions, and return shipping is free.
If you'd prefer a different size or color, exchanges are available on request, subject to availability.
Refunds are issued within 14 days of inspection, back to your original payment method. If your item arrives defective or doesn't match its description, we cover all shipping costs and you choose between a replacement or a full refund.

No. The 35-inch panel crops into the great wave itself, losing the far peak and part of the second boat. It works as a graphic, but the full composition needs a 71-inch width.
Layered rather than shaded, in the manner of a woodblock, with three distinct blues stacked from pale to near-black and hard edges between them.
Aged, closer to old paper than to white, which is what keeps the indigo from looking harsh. Beside a white bath the difference is obvious.
