Less than photographs of waffle towelling suggest. The cells are small and shallow, so at a distance the panel reads as plain white and the texture only announces itself close up or under raking light.
No, and it is not meant to be. This is a water-resistant panel with a waffle-look surface rather than absorbent towelling; water beads on it and runs off rather than soaking in.
With regular washing, yes. The risk on any white panel is a slow grey cast from soap film, and on a textured surface that builds in the cells first, so wash on a schedule rather than waiting for it to look dull.
