Description
A Flat Matte Weave in Deep Graphite
This charcoal shower curtain carries no print, no border and no sheen, so the whole design rests on how the woven polyester folds. The cloth is dense enough that the pleats keep their shape down the full drop instead of flattening into random creases, and the surface stays matte under overhead lighting rather than catching hot spots the way a coated panel does. Seen up close the colour reads as a warm graphite with a faint brown undertone, not the blue-grey that solid panels often turn out to be. Held against a white towel the difference is obvious.
- Dimensions: 59 x 71 inches (width x height)

- Hem: plain stitched hem, no sewn-in weights
- Care: machine washable at 86 F
Anchoring a Bright Tiled Room With One Dark Panel
In a bathroom finished in white subway tile, pale terrazzo or light oak, one dark plane does the job a feature wall would, pulling the eye to a single surface and letting chrome or brushed nickel fittings read as deliberate rather than incidental. It hangs alongside the rest of our grey shower curtains without repeating any of their patterns, and if you like the undecorated approach but want saturated colour instead of a neutral, the Royal Blue Shower Curtain takes the same idea to the other end of the spectrum. Because there is no pattern to align, it is also the easiest panel in the range to hang well: any gather looks intentional, and a crooked rod shows far less than it would on a stripe or a grid.

It sits between the two and leans dark. Against white tile it reads almost black from across the room, but with daylight on it you can see it is a warm graphite rather than a true black, and the fold shadows give it several tones at once. If you are matching it to black hardware, expect a soft contrast rather than an exact match.
Dried splash shows more on a dark ground than on a busy print, which is the trade-off with any solid dark colour. The water-repellent face means droplets bead and run off rather than soaking in, so shaking the panel out after a shower keeps most of it from drying in place. Hard-water marks that do dry on can be sponged off with warm water.
No. Woven polyester has enough body and surface friction that it does not stick to skin the way a thin film does, and the density of this weave adds to that. In a narrow stall with a strong hot shower it can still drift inward on the air current, but it will not wrap around you.
They are metal with a silver-tone finish and are specified as rust-resistant, which in practice means they survive daily condensation without staining the cloth around them. The one thing that shortens their life is standing water, so if your rod sits under a leaking shower head it is worth drying the header occasionally.
