The farmhouse floral shower curtain builds its colour from one narrow band: a stag's head faces forward with flowering branches growing where its antlers should be, red blossom scattered along them, two crimson cardinals perched among the flowers and a broad rust-brown band running across the base of the panel. Everything else is a soft cream, so the reds carry the whole image and the animal itself stays quiet in mid brown. The branches spread wider than the animal's head, so the antler line reaches almost to both edges of the panel and gives the composition its width.

Warm Rust Against a Painted Wall
